Robin Taylor announces the engagement of her daughter, Raven Marie Matherne, to Keith Michael Morvant, son of Mr. and Mrs. Sidney Morvant III. 

The wedding will be Nov. 12 at St. Hilary of Poiters Church. 

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Ned Matherne Sr. and the late Eula B. Matherne. She is a 1996 graduate of Central Lafourche High School and attended Nicholls State University. She is employed by the Lafourche Parish School Board. 

The prospective groom is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Breaux and Sidney Morvant Jr. and the late Dorothy Morvant. He is a 1998 graduate of Central Lafourche High School.
